Goosebumps comeback of the 24h spa EWC motos

After more than 20 years the heat came back to Spa. It was an incredible weekend that caused goosebumps more than once despite the warm temperatures.

Although the weather forecast predicted a rainy weekend, the race started with amazing sunshine and quite warm temperatures which made it even more strenuous for the riders. The favorites took the lead quite soon and spectators were able to see exciting passing maneuvers. Unfortunately, some riders were not able to finish the race due to technical issues and when the rain began to start, it was quite the usual Spa experience.

Sadly, another technical issue caused a 2 hour interruption of the race. Luckily, the race could be restarted and ended with an incredible finish. F.C.C. TSR Honda France was able to conquer back the third place and beat Yoshimura SERT Motul in the last lap. After almost 24 h, what an incredible finish. The superior BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team won with Tati Team Beringer coming in second.

After all the comeback of the 24h spa EWC motos was long overdue and it was a big festival for all the spectators. Hopefully it is not a goodbye but a see you later.
